Through reckognition that to succeed with a landscape-driven regeneration process, actual projects must be put out in the field. In an attempt to identify such project candidates, all students studied the data gathered, together with analysis prepared by each individual student. At a relatively early stage, I decided to use recycling as a theme, and looked at possible ways to employ the concept of recyclng in the context of regeneration of Peterhead.
It was through all this work and brainstorming I identified the possibility for a museum/visitor centre, much like the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao - which formed the idea that acted as the generator for the rest of my Peterhead regeneration project.
