Above flash animation illustrate three distinct ways of how to approach the design for the site. Red dotted lines indicates roads that have been moved or adjusted. Green arrows indicate points of access. Black dotted line indicate coastline that has been adjusted.
The first diagram show available area if one were to maintain today's coastlines and keep them unaltered.
The s econd diagram in the sequence explore the possibility of locating parts of the cemetery within the waterbody itself, i.e. making adjustments to the prosent coastline.
Finally, the third diagram show how it may be possible to move today's coastline and locate the entire development within the waterbody. This is the option that was finally decided upon, and is fully explored through all design stages.
